Fosters a sense of calm, tranquility, and overall balance within one's mind and soul and the living world around us by engaging our senses and captivating our spirits.

Mindfulness

Cultivating present-moment awareness by fostering a profound connection between mind and body such as meditation, breathwork, journaling, and kundalini.

Creativity

Powerful outlet for self-expression, allowing individuals to explore, then process their emotions and inner world such as painting, music, poetry, and meal prep/design.

Re-wilding

Reconnecting individuals with nature to promote physical and mental well-being by fostering a sustainable and harmonious relationship between humans and the natural environment.

Movement

Vital for mental health as it releases endorphins, reduces stress, and enhances cognitive function, contributing to improved mood and overall well-being such as dance, yoga, core training, HIIT, and stretching.

adventure

Experiential approach that utilizes outdoor activities and challenges to facilitate personal growth and healing such as hiking, snorkeling, diving, paddleboarding, surfing, and climbing.

Group WORKSHOPS

Through sharing stories and insights, participants may find that they are not alone in their struggles and can interact with others who are experiencing similar challenges and are able to gain a broader perspective.

There are a few, extremely clear moments in my life where the noise of this wild world was muted and I could fully hear myself for what I am, who I seek to be, and how I wish to live. The most vivid of these moments happened in the Sea of Cortez, aboard a sailboat at sunrise, with a group of strangers that became a lifelong community, and a natural setting that is etched into my memories forever. This Is Water isn't a vacation, it's a journey meant to heal, challenge, and embrace.

On the final day of the voyage I made a commitment to myself to give myself more unscheduled time and avoid the stress of racing around like crazy. It has now been two months since I made this vow, and I am still able, for the most part, to live a less hectic life. Do yourself a favor and JUST SAY ‘YES.’ I was hesitant to commit to TIW, given my limited (almost zero) spiritual/wellness experience, my deep seated anxieties & my fear of tough accommodations (admittedly more of a glamper than a camper), but boy oh boy was I wrong. I felt at home from the moment I stepped onto the pier and one year later, I’m still in touch with the family we made at sea. TIW was just what I didn’t know I needed - a magical week of introspection, laughing over yummy shared meals, growth & some AMAZING dance parties. It’s a beautifully curated, natural experience that I recommend SO highly & will always cherish.
